Last stand

Illustration with markers, ink, ballpoint pens, acrylic and coloured pencils.
I usually naturally tend towards doing drawings with just one or two characters in so a larger battle scene (although as fantasy battle scenes go this is pretty small), is always a challenge.
I found in my sketchbook that ball point pens can work nicely over the top of markers. (plus some white prismacolour for the highlights.) A combo of that blended look from markers and the hatchy linework rendering with the pens!
